Beet, Ginger, Turmeric & Watermelon Juice

1-inch fresh turmeric root (or ½ tsp ground turmeric)

½ lemon, juiced (optional, for extra freshness)

1 cup cold water (adjust for consistency)

Ice cubes (optional)

Instructions

Wash and prepare all ingredients.

Add watermelon, beet, ginger, turmeric, lemon juice, and water into a blender or juicer.

Blend until smooth. If using a juicer, process everything directly.

Strain through a fine mesh sieve or cheesecloth if you prefer a smoother juice.

Pour into a glass over ice cubes and serve immediately.

Notes

Fresh turmeric is best, but powdered works if unavailable.

For a sweeter taste, add a small apple or a teaspoon of honey.

Juice is best consumed immediately to preserve nutrients, but can be refrigerated for up to 24 hours.Continue reading…
