Honor Flight Network’s Dedication
The organization has been working for years to ensure that these veterans, many of whom are in their late 80s and early 90s, have the chance to see the memorials dedicated to their service. The visit from Obama was a gesture of respect and gratitude that was appreciated by both the veterans and their families.
“We’ve flown over 300,000 veterans to Washington, D.C.,” said Honor Flight Network’s representative, “and this surprise was something that none of them will ever forget. It was an unforgettable experience, and we are so grateful to President Obama for taking the time to honor these heroes.”
