In a heartfelt gesture, Obama handed out the Presidential Challenge Coin to each of the veterans aboard the flight, making sure that they had a tangible reminder of the country’s appreciation. These coins, which Obama personally distributed throughout his presidency, hold significant meaning and serve as a lasting reminder of the bond between the nation and its veterans.
