Despite the public scrutiny, Schroder later opened up about his complicated relationship with fame. In 2024, he reflected, “But I never fit in Hollywood. […] Other people made choices for you and put you on a track. But today I make my own choices.”

More recently, Schroder had a reason to smile, as in July 2025, he got married. The couple tied the knot in a beachside ceremony in Cabo, and Schroder shared the happy news on his Instagram page.
While the wedding itself sparked congratulations, Schroder’s appearance in the photos drew a wave of reactions online. “Time has not been his friend,” one person wrote, while another added, “Wow he used to be such a cutie.”
