Ingredients:

  • 2 cups (500 ml) of water
  • 1 cinnamon stick (or ยฝ teaspoon cinnamon powder)
  • 4โ€“5 whole cloves
  • Juice of ยฝ a fresh lemon
  • (Optional) 1 teaspoon of raw honey for taste

Preparation:

  1. Bring the water to a boil in a small pot.
  2. Add the cinnamon and cloves.
  3. Reduce the heat and let it simmer gently for 7โ€“10 minutes.
  4. Turn off the heat and allow it to cool slightly (so itโ€™s warm, not hot).
  5. Add the lemon juice (and honey, if desired) and stir well.
  6. Strain and serve warm.

How to Use:
